Indeed— Trump is just like corporatist America and Chamber of Commerce cronies— who have wanted national healthcare to take the expense of companies and cost shift it to national tax supported (and uh, mandated higher premiums to fake out the idiot private insurers, who have now mostly all left the business, except for United HC). September 2015, Trump is on record saying “I’m gonna cover everybody....” Who will provide coverage== “the government” (that’s US folks who already ARE providing it— he wants MORE)-— “and the govt’ will save money on the back end”.... JUST what obamaumaocare promised and. cannot. deliver. EVER. Single payer Canadian care— that is what Trump is trumpeting (how ironic). The entire system needs to be repealed— and NOT replaced with THIS single payer (after all, that would make Trump in agreement with Hitlery and really Bernie).

We could say this about the status quo ante Obamacare as well, except that hospitals only had to treat survival cases and then had to eat it.

“Cover everybody” does not come close to giving the whole picture. We have to go back and insist on an answer to “for just what” or we are arguing apple seeds vs. orange peels or something as ludicrously incomparable.
