The legal argument there isn't as easy as the "born abroad" one, but see Kawakita v. United States, 343 U.S. 717 (1952) for the risks associated with dual citizenship. Obama is an admitted dual citizen at birth, BTW. And there is much written, even in modern cases (Tuan Anh Nguyen v. INS, 533 U.S. 53 (2001)), about the importance of contact with the citizen parent and US "culture."
Again we'd be stuck with a charismatic target (Rubio), which roughly stops people's ability to reason, dead in its tracks.
-- Anyone know what is happening with Obummer's illegal EO's that the judge stopped last fall? I haven't seen anything on it in quite some time. --
SCOTUS agreed to hear it. I think that is bad news, SCOTUS will say it's up to Congress to impeach if the president doesn't take case the laws are faithfully executed, not a power of the Courts. Actually, there is plenty of middle ground, but SCOTUS would not have taken it if it agreed with the status quo. SCOTUS wants to legitimize the legalization of the illegals by executive order, contrary to will of Congress. It's SCOTUS turn to be "bad cop."
I agree completely!
Why can’t they just wait a few more months and let the PEOPLE decide via the upcoming election?
