Same here. If Trump used illegal and creepy tactics like Ted Cruz just did he’d lose my support. Underhanded tactics are expected, but threats and intimidation are not acceptable. Those are fighting words.
I expect Trump to just step out of the way and let Cruz bleed out between now and Monday but after that he will be beating Cruz with this stuff night and day. How about the next debate? Oye! :-)
Trump obviously has a more instinctive sense of how to motivate people than this demonstrates although the notice itself didn’t look all that official. How a semi engaged voter can believe there is such thing as a formal “violation” for not going to the polls I’m not quite sure.
