Thanks for your input. Always enlightening. In your opinion, who would have standing to bring the matter before the Court?

You would have to look at where you found the case and what the challenge claim was founded on. However there would be a number of people who would have standing.

Further, the reason the cases against Barry get blown out on Standing grounds is that Barry's counsel or counsel for someone who has intervened on his behalf has moved to dismiss.

If you were representing Cruz in an aggressive effort to get the issue resolved, you stipulate Standing with someone who actually has standing on the facts.

Which makes these last 8 years all the more galling. No one except us ‘crazy right-wingers’ wanted to hear a word discussed about ‘natural born citizen’, and what it meant, in 2008. Disgusting.

Thank you for your thoughtful response and no need to apologize, those of us in the business tend to be very direct. I intended to avoid a knee-jerk reply but at the same time a number of distractions arose.

This thread appears to have run its course so I do not believe the OP will mind if I refer you to this newer, yet evolving thread:

At the heart of the thread is a scholarly brief on NBC that you may find of interest.

And thank you, ironman, for continuing the discussion.
