I know. It’s called hyperbole. I like hyperbole and use it often. Except when I do it, I prefer to call it embellishment.

Yeah, Me too. I ‘snark’ a lot, and that often involves hyperbole, or exaggeration of my target’s characteristics.

Trouble is... People are allowing their hatred for Trump to destroy any capability to understand nuance or get that people are just being being snarky to one person or group of persons who has aroused their ire, and is not meant to be a universal statement about an entire institution.
