because we still sin every day

Really? You think that no one can go a single day without sin? Where is that in the Bible? Jesus told the woman to 'go and sin no more', so why would He have said this if it was impossible to do?

No, the problem is with man's twisting what Jesus said. The Word of God specifically tells us what sin is and Jesus, the living Word of God, tells us that through the power of His spirit in us, we too can overcome as He overcame the temptations of the devil. So, NO!, we do not necessarily need to repent everyday, however, we should take time everyday in prayer to thank God for the blessings we receive and the tribulations we bear in His Name.

"To he who overcomes!" Maybe it's time the churches start preaching and teaching what it means to be an overcomer, because Jesus certainly did and He left us an example that wee should follow, that we should not be lead astray by every wind of man made religious doctrine wherein there is no profit.

Really?

You can go 24 hours without a single selfish thought. You can go 24 hours without being angry at someone, or insulting someone, or thinking bad thoughts about someone. You can go 24 hours without even a hint of lustful thoughts. You can go 24 hours without wasting time on your own pleasure. You can go 24 hours without hating someone or dishonoring your parents or wanting something that doesn’t belong to you or saying anything but the full and complete truth. You can go for a day without even being tempted to sin at all. You can spend an entire day without doing or thinking or saying anything at all that is even the slightest bit less than perfect and holy and righteous in the sight of God.

In that case, Saint Paul better step aside; we’ve got a new super-apostle in town.
