The article basically said that Jeff Roe was a total sleazeball jerk. He even caused one of the opponents of a previous client to commit suicide because if his vile campaign tricks. It made me wonder why a supposedly upstanding person would hire someone like that.
That mailing sounds like the kind of idiotic thing Jeff Roe would do.
Having just read the first 50 and now the comments at 300, it is clear that everyone feels this was a terrible idea. Some thought it was a con from another campaign, but that appears to have been silenced by a Cruz campaign spokesman.
