A very "Big Brother" attempt to get out the vote, in my opinion.

WOW!! This is the mother of bad,bad campaigning ideas. Cruz stepped in it big time with this one. looks like another win for Trump.

Apparently this was sent out by someone in the Cruz campaign. This will not help Cruz, it will hurt him, especially at a caucus, where the word can spread to people who would not otherwise be aware of this mailing. This is an unforced error, a self-inflicted dirty trick. Rubio will benefit. Cruz could drop from first to third. I hope Cruz fires the numbskull who thought this was a good idea.

One thing is certain, though. Even if Cruz, my favored candidate, is damaged and becomes a non-factor by the time of the Missouri primary on March 15, there is one candidate I definitely will not be voting for, and that is Donald Trump. Trump is a total embarrassment. I would vote for one of the other guys--i.e., the next-best overall social and constitutional conservative--before I would ever vote for Trump.

Trump has three rallies in Iowa today. He should get one of these and hold it up and talk about it at each.

Expenditures for Mercer’s Keep the Promise PAC recent efforts in Iowa.

Looks like he funnels money into the Super Pac, then he pays his own firm, Cambridge Analytica

Oddball companies that are paid large sums of money like paid $1,095,000 Rigel Strategies LLC, office mailing address going to UPS stores... Hmmmm, tracks covered as well as possible so we can see who is working with whom trying to control the election.

He could have done it with out all of the personal information.

It would have been simple and more effective as there would not be the blowback that this caused.

Big mistake on the part of his campaign.

Who is the dummy that thought this up? And are we sure it was Cruz? Could be a set-up, can’t believe anyone would be so stupid as to think they would gain by this. -—Unless it’s some sort of “false flag” deal by some other campaign (even that seems ludicrous), more likely some moron on his own, or some less-than-intelligent PAC.

I don’t see anything wrong with them. Electric companies use them all the time.

As a matter of fact, this has been done before. Experts say it works.

Donald Trump is the rich jock who crashes the meeting of the AP US History AP American Government geeks who are planning the class trip to Washington DC and throws out his own suggestions, which they hate.

Ted Cruz is the debate team AP US History AP American Government nerd who shows up at the prom committee meeting and proposes "Resolved: the rule of Happersett v. Minor must be clarified" as the prom theme.

It's not surprising that this intrusive "good citizenship" move comes from his campaign.

ANOTHER CONFIRMATION THE MAILERS BELONG TO CRUZ. CONFIRMED BY STEVE DEACE.

“AMES, Iowa- Iowa radio host Steve Deace, a top Ted Cruz endorser in this state, claimed on Saturday that controversial mailers sent to Iowa voters by the Cruz campaign were inauthentic, despite the fact that the campaign itself confirmed they were real.
Deace later acknowledged having erred, tweeting that he “stands corrected” and that, “The mailer that has Team Rubio upset is in fact from the Cruz campaign.”

I don’t believe it is from Cruz or anyone that this notice says it is from. It’s campaign crap and creepy too. Probably from a Democrat to stir up disgust among GOP voters.

I got a kick out of reading the replies here.

I tell you this. If it was the Trump campaign that sent these violations out, the opinions on this board would be 180 degrees different. Cruz supporters would be trumpeting this as an example of how Trump is utterly out of control and contemptuous of the citizens of Iowa and Trump supporters would be defending it as "genius" and "brilliant".
