The conservative movement is starting to look a lot like Syria.
Baited, taunted, mocked by Fox News, Donald Trump told Roger Ailes what he could do with his Iowa debate, and marched off to host a Thursday night rally for veterans at the same time in Des Moines.
Message: I speak for the silent majority, Roger, not you, not Megyn Kelly, not Fox News. Diss me, and I will do fine without Fox.
And so the civil-sectarian war on the right widens and deepens.

Yesterday or the day before, you told me that if Trump is the nominee that you will NOT vote for him...You will stay at home or vote a write-in...
Do you still feel that way even though you will give Hillary or Sanders an extra count vote by doing that???
You are ever so right.
Canât wait to see the DUmmies revolt when Chump goes all left after the electionSo you obviously agree it's Trump's to lose.
Hopefully we'll see what happens unless Iran decides to nuke us with the bomb Cruz enabled them to get.
Hey Wendle,I propose to you that you find some florida FReepers and ask their opinion of Rubio. There is a major reason he is not seeking reelection to his senate seat.Politicians are never sorry for their votes. It was all a calculation on his part and he got burned bigtime on it.Take care FRiend.
Oh my goodness, Wendle, I’m disappointed to hear your 2 VP choices. There is so much wrong with Rubio, starting with he is not a natural born citizen, in the opinion of many. So there’s that same ? for him as for Cruz.
Secondly, he ran with the support of the Tea Party and Conservatives, but as soon as he reported to DC, he immediately refused to even meet with their caucus(es) or attend any of their meetings.
Thirdly, he can’t even manage his own finances.
Fourth, there’s that story today about him paying Luntz.
Fifth, he decided not to show up for work and vote. If there is one thing that is important to Trump, it is a hard work ethic. Rubio displays the opposite.
I could go on, there are many more reasons, but suffice it to say, I doubt Trump would select him.
Newt is an establishment RINO.
Instead, I hope Trump picks a young version of himself, a successful businessman, strong and smart, who takes no @#$$ off of anybody!
+1 We need a patriot for Veep!
Marco is very sorry for Amnesty with Chuck schumer

No he is not, Read today’s FreeRepublic, he’s still for amnesty
Globalism and we don’t exist any more. America, the greatest experiment in human history and the greatest success for freedom will disappear into the annals of dusty archives. And the raven spake, nevermore.
I remember in 2008 and 2012 Michael Medved chiding everybody who was upset at our nominees. He railed against 3rd party runs. Paraphrasing: “If you don’t like who the party nominates, change the party from within.”
Thanks Michael. Almost done.
Exactly! I cannot understand how anti American and Anti- constitutional votes can be considered by some as Conservative. Talk about swallowing a bill of goods...sheesh!
I’d like to see Trump pick Jeff Sessions for VP....
World Nut Daily is more and more looking like a Haight Street rag which has drifted to the left of the "occupy movement."
Clueless.
Sadly, yes Boonie. You know how many times I have heard and fell for the “hold your nose and vote for ******”? Never again. I cannot vote for someone as vile, liberal, untrustworthy, back-stabbing and vindictive as Trump.
Incoherent babble is inconclusive, as well as irritating.
I assume by "Chump" you are referring to Obama?
So you still would allow that extra vote to the democrats...
I really hope there aren’t too many that feel that way...
But hey....That’s your right...That’s what makes this a great country...(as long as we can keep the rights we have left)
Any ideas?
>>Iâd like to see Trump pick Jeff Sessions for VP....
He is a good man, absolutely. I would support that choice.
I do want someone to stay in Congress who is trustworthy, though, and it’s hard to think of anyone else there that might be described as such : )
There’s your problem Pat, you’re confusing TRUMP(PRAISE BE TO HIS NAME!) with a conservative. That was your first mistake.
