Plus it would have exposed that WE were selling Libya’s weapons to Syria. And .. by the way, we sold these weapons to Libya - so they were American made.
This was part of the stockpile left when Gadaffi was taken out.
The guy from Turkey who was meeting with Stevens at the compound, was the go-between. Nothing happened until he left the compound.

Was the presence of Chris Stevens in Benghazi known around the terrorist world because our Sec of State Hillary Clinton’s illegal secret server (filled with classified emails) had been hacked ? !
Is that why the Benghazi attack occurred?

Libya’s manpads were not American made. They were Russian SA-7s [Grails] and SA-24s [Grinches].
The interesting thing is that it appears Libya acquired the Russian SA-24s from Venezuela.
