elapsed days between debates on the same network
Well I gotta give you points for effort there. But no sale, I'm not buying. That is a desperate reach for something to salvage from this debacle. Elapsed days makes no difference when there are super variables such as drama, publicity, infighting, promotion, and a million others.
You realize they had a lot more hype for this 2nd debate than the 1st one because Trump has been dominating ever since the first one, the Princess Megyn controversies, and now you had this great drama of "will he show up" leading up to it. It has consumed everything in its wake for the previous 48 hours, including the unprecedented publicity on competing networks! Nothing has ever had this much hype.
It is safe to say he took away at least 5 million viewers all by himself, some estimates are much higher. This alone is at least double the typical O'Reilly total viewership, or ten times his average of 500k and is nothing short of huge news. That is exactly why the had a full court press involving every single element of FNC begging Trump to come back.

This was pure propaganda, a lie that began with a putz named Bill Kristol, and you have been duly informed of that fact, but still haven't addressed whether this was a mere accidental error of accepting it at face value, or rather a TDS induced intentional spreading of falsehoods from that TDS sufferer-in-chief at the Weekly Standard..

Look, I’ve tired of your hyperactive and strange imaginings. Go look at the original posting I did here which was simply to link to an article mentioning the RATINGS for Thursday night’s debate. The mere mention of those ratings for some reason elicited feverish LUNACY and strange postings from the TRUMP (PEACE BE UPON HIM) Worshippers. I’ll leave you now to your strange thoughts.
