I do not want to listen to this childish man for 4 years.

Sounds like Obama.

I think he handled the pummeling alright. Had a rough start but ‘won’ the debate in all.
Was odd that the ‘birther’ issue didn’t come up.

I really like Ted Cruz, but Trump is right, he is not a natural born citizen.

The only way one can be NATURALLY an American citizen is if one is born here of citizen parents, no other possible citizenships.

Foreign births and foreign parents bring with them other citizenship possiblities, negating natural born citizen status.

The new definition of simply being born a citizen makes every anchor baby and Winston Churchill eligible.

Lol Ted Cruz wandering awkwardly around the stage and no one wants to talk to him, like every party he went to at Princeton.

The coward who was afraid to face Ted Cruz speaks.

I thought Cruz had a bit of a rough staet, and the knocked it out of the park for the remainder of the debare.

His strong performance is all the more remarkable when you take into consideration that Fox News obviously had daggers for him from staet to finish.

The birttherism continues, precisely because Trump knows there is no way to clear it up until after the election.

Seriously, Trump needs to stop with this Canada stuff, it’s starting to look petty.

When you were born in Canada you aren't supposed to be running for president of the United States."

When you are born in Canada, of an American Citizen, you are automatically given DUEL Citianeship - For those too blind to understand - he was given American citizenship at birth. His mother also moved BACK to the US when he was vey young - well withing the the limit to MAINTAIN their US Citizenship. Go ahead - follow/push this Pied Piper Huckster - the Trumpster - into the WH - and then cry in your beer a couple years from now as you realize you've been had - and helped finish off our country.

Cruz was pummeled; in the absence of Trump, Cruz goes back to being the one that has to be taken down.

Cruz handled himself well.

And Trump was vindicated. Fox News was back to its embarrassing level of childishness in the way it conducted the debates. The remaining candidates did alright, they mostly ignored the stupid questions asked and answered the questions they wished they had been asked.

But out of all the debates, in my opinion the best has been by Fox Business and the worst, silliest, have been by Fox News. Wallace and Kelly, insufferable. They can’t get it through their heads that the debates are not supposed to be about them; their job is to let the candidates debate one another on topics they consider important.

When you were born in Canada you aren't supposed to be running for president of the United States.

That is not true. One of the best references to the original understanding and intent of "natural born citizen" is the 1790 Naturalization Act passed by many of the same people who were involved in ratifying the Constitution three years earlier.

"...the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond Sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born Citizens..."

This is a confirmation that the original understanding of "natural born citizen" included one who is born outside of the U.S. may in fact be a natural born citizen.

How can we expect “expert debater” Ted Cruz to handle Hillary if he can’t even handle Rand Paul?

Trump may do better highlighting the specific unethical setups from the mods. That may give Cruz a small boost, but reinforces why Trump stepped out of the debate.

I didn’t watch the debate and I don’t plan to watch it. Seems like lots of pundits and Twitter folks are all saying Cruz didn’t do well in the debate. Time will tell if it is true.

“Donald Trump believes Ted Cruz got “pummeled” in Thursday night’s GOP debate”

pretty much every major and minor media outlet has exactly the same take.

and of course that “pummeling” had originally been intended for Trump, who decided one “pummeling” by FNC was one “pummeling” too many.

So says the player that did not suit up for the game. Pot shots from afar give me a mental picture of a democrat hiding in plain sight. I do like what Trump says, but can I trust him on following through?
