Even if Trump comes in a close second he is off and running the rest of the table.

There is some protection against multiple voting from same device. But yes, you can vote from all devices accessible to you.

You see some sappy ad by the government about not taking drugs and it influences the way you think about Trump.

You have reading comprehension issues.

Not if Cruz can hang in through mid-march, but he has to be able to hang on while all alternatives but Trump fall away as a result of inability to collect delegates or state wins. Our nominee will either be Trump, Cruz or Rubio.

Which do you want? Trump is a sure loser in November and is more Democrat than a Republican. Rubio can win in November, maybe, but is he right on policy? Cruz is right on policy and can beat Hillary or any Democrat alternative. For me the choice is easy right now, but if Cruz falters and we are left withTrump and Rubio, the choice become harder, but still ultimately clear. Trump goes back to playing real-estate magnate.

Bottom line for me is that if the American people are dumb enough, short-sighted enough, and suicidal enough to accept a candidate for President on the basis of celebrity alone, we are doomed as a nation and the Socialists will have won the final battle.

I hate to give you a preview of pain but its highly likely your boy Cruz will come in third in Iowa and he has zero chance to win NH or SC. Iowa is his only shot and that’s not looking too good. Even if he wins Iowa Cruz has no path to the nomination unless you believe that a third of the GOP voters will desert Trump to vote for him. Its simply not happening.

His poor performance at the Fox debate last night coupled with embarrassing spectacle of him getting sworn in on a compass by Glenn Beck have pretty much sealed Ted’s fate.

For many, Rubio is an unacceptable choice due to gang of 8. I am one. Jeb is similarly unsupportable.

Look here, I don’t WANT Rubio. It’s just a question of who I don’t want more.

Both Rubio and Trump are amnesty whores, but Trump is worse on so many other issues... Where do we go if Cruz falters? And I’m not saying he will.

I don’t think you have a grasp of how the primaries between now and mid-March actually work. There is a very clear, even open road in front of Ted Cruz that takes him straight to the nomination, but to do so, he has to remain the only viable alternative to the Kardashian Kandidate celebrity buffoon.

It’s more important to Cruz to stop Rubio right now and take out Trump later. it’s the right strategy.

Sorry - I did not mean to imply you were advocating Rubio. I was only trying to add in the basal hostility to him as a candidate.

“I don’t think you have a grasp of how the primaries between now and mid-March actually work.”

I don’t think you have a grasp of reality. The only state that Ted Cruz is even competitive in is Iowa. Even if Trump comes in a close second in Iowa, he takes NH, SC, Nevada and then the SEC. Then Fla. He is leading by yuge margins in all these states. By SC Cruz will likely be totally out of contention.

If Cruz places third in Iowa, he will be hurt badly. He actually needs to win Iowa. That much is true, but to win, Cruz does not need to peel any votes away from Trump. Trump’s voters are LIVs and celebrity addicts.

I watched the debate and I think Cruz took the punches well, and there is no question that he was ganged up on, much as Trump was in past debates. The smarmy and smug Chris Wallace framed four questions in a row to other candidates naming Cruz in the premises of the questions, then denied Cruz an opportunity to respond on the basis that Cruz could only respond if the answer mentioned his name, but not the question! But Cruz did very well otherwise.

The Beck compass fiasco was hurtful, yes, but be honest: Cruz was blindsided by a tone-deaf Beck. In the larger scheme of things, I don’t think voters will hold it against Cruz any more than Trump’s voters will hold Trump’s bragging about being able to get away with murder in front of witnesses against him.

Time is the Revelator. I think you have no sense of what is going to happen in March, but we shall see.

A hostility I feel myself. The guy is a snake. Let's leave it there.

The problem you either don’t see or are ignoring is that Ted Cruz has never polled well from the minute he entered the race. The reason for that is that he is too conservative for the average GOP voter. Ted’s problem is not Trump its Ted Cruz.

If Trump had never gotten into the race you would be looking at Jeb Bush and Scott Walker on top and Rubio and Cruz duking it out for 2nd or third.

Cruz never had a path to the GOP nomination. He got lucky by drafting on Trump’s bumper hoping Trump would eat him last and now that’s happening.

Know this, Donald Trump is not Mitt Romney. He’s no choke artist and he’s used to winning. He’s a closer and he will close the deal on the GOP nomination.

Oh I’m voting online for Trump alright- AZ now has online voting. I’ve been hiking the Pacific Crest Trail for the past four years. I am delaying my hike this year to ensure I vote in the primary. I am chomping at the bit to vote for McCain’s opponent- Dr Kelli Ward, in the US Senate race.

Down goes McCain! Down goes McCain! Down goes McCain!
