That Canadian is totally dead to me while that slug is still in office.
Trudeau plans to change the voting system so he’ll stay forever

No need.
The Canadian prime minister serves at Her Majesty’s pleasure, meaning the post does not have a fixed term. Once appointed and sworn in by the governor general, the prime minister remains in office until he or she resigns, is dismissed, or dies.
Following parliamentary dissolution, the prime minister must run in the resulting general election if he or she wishes to maintain a seat in the House of Commons. Should the prime minister’s party subsequently win a majority of seats in the House of Commons, it is unnecessary to re-appoint the prime minister or again swear him or her into office.[12] If, however, an opposition party wins a majority of seats, the prime minister may resign or be dismissed by the governor general.

butlerweave has it right.
Canada has a “first-past-the-post” election system — similar to the USA; but with several more main-stream parties.
The Trudeau Liberals want to change the rules, so that voters identify their second choice as well as their first. The Liberals are a “centrist” party — with the Conservatives to their right, and the socialist NDP to their left (plus Greens, and the Parti Quebecois, and 14 other registered parties; but, I’m trying to keep it simple).
Say you vote for a Conservative candidate; but, you really don’t want the socialists to win — you would then mark the Liberals as your second choice. Unless the Conservative candidate gets 50% of the first-choice votes; the second-choice votes would go to the Liberals. Same works in reverse where the socialist, Green, or separatist parties are the first choice. The second choice would be the party in the middle — the Lie-berals. They would have to work very hard to not get elected. Every time.
BTW, they are even refusing to put this fundamental change in the rules to a referendum — a simple majority vote in Parliament would be enough (unless the SCOC acts against form, and quashes the new rules).
Doesn’t want to rile up the guys he went to pray with.
Trudeau Marxist-lite didn’t forget anything. He’s like his father and mother who loved Cubans, but just the Castro communist ones, not the freedom-fighters of 2056 Brigade and Alpha 66.
If there is any country in the western hemisphere that needs a real purge, it is Canada. Round ‘em up, line ‘em up, and shoot the reds, including the leadership of the NDP (whose ties to Red China need some serious investigating - drugs through Vancouver, Chinese immigrants, Chinese businesses). Might as well throw in the leftist Frogs of the Quebecoises too. Some of the country’s universities also need a massive cleaning. They’ve got more reds and lefties in them, proportionally, that we have in our American universities.
We need a secure, friendly nation on our northern border, not one led by a commie-kid and his Marxist minions. The average Canadian is a friendly, decent person but the poison of Marxism has gotten into their water system, or something that affects all the people.
We don’t want Canada to become a clone of New York City.
And Trudeau will betray all those brave Canadian servicemen and women who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. You can count on it.
They kicked Israel's greatest friend, Harper, to the curb. I don't want to hear them whining now.
So did Canadian Christians. Nominal in both cases, where religious values are concerned.
True story. I guess the apple doesn't fall far.
I am thinking he is a closet Muslim....
Typical Leftist

I am pretty sure the Act requires an election at least once every 5 years.
