As someone said earlier, Cruz is a ‘technician’.
No doubt a good one. The government is full of good technicians (well, not full and not all good, but you get my drift).
What we need is a powerful leader who can turn this big ship around. It will take technicians to help, and to keep it on course once it’s there. But turning around a large ship is slow and requires much effort. A good leader can get others to make that effort, and in that direction.
Looks like it’s starting.
