Does Cruz know he's not eligible? If so, he needs to admit it. But Trump's request is reasonable---judges have ruled against the constitution for a long time, ignored it, and rewritten it. So I expect Cruz to be ruled eligible, as the Establishment will insist on it. GS $ to Roberts will do it. Get a signature loan from Goldman Sachs. OR does Cruz know that by his own words defending the constitution, to be consistent, he's not eligible because the constitution says you must be born on U.S. soil.

Would the Heavyweight Champion schedule a fight with a 40 pound midget? of course not, because you have to meet the ELIGIBILITY requirements to be the Heavyweight Champion. Would Trump debate the president of Venezuela? Raul Castro? Merkle? ...You know what---Cruz should debate TRUDEAU.

If Cruz just admits it, the issue "goes away," and the string pullers will be able to field unqualified candidates forever after.

Better for the country that he fight light hell to NOT have the issue adjudicated. Some "hero" judge or secretary of state will find he is unqualified, and the poop will hit the ventilator. That will grab the public's attention in a way that the current chatter just doesn't reach.
