A president can do a lot. I’ve felt all along, all through the years of this man in the white house, that the economy could be kickstarted very easily if there was any will to do so. And believe me, and I don’t believe everything about him, but believe this, Trump knows how to start the economic engine.
A president can cajole and pressure the Congress, but he cannot change the tax code on his own. He cannot institute tariffs on his own.
