BRUTAL Ad Released Ripping Trump on Illegal Immigration Flip-Flop
Daily Wire ^ | January 28, 2016 | By: Hank Berrien

Posted on 01/28/2016 12:45:06 PM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

A new ad that brutally exposes Donald Trump's hypocrisy vis-a-vis illegal immigration did not come from any of his current opponents, but rather Our Principles PAC, an anti-Trump group led by former Mitt Romney aide Katie Packer.

The ad opens by asserting that the reason Trump is skipping Thursday"s GOP debate is "Trump can't handle tough questions, like why he'd let millions of illegal immigrants stay in America and even supports a pathway to citizenship." The ad then shows Trump addressing a Chicago audience last June, sounding as if he endorsed giving illegal immigrants a path to citizenship. Trump lectured, "You have to give them a path and you have to make it possible for them to succeed. You have to do that."

The ad immediately segues to a recording of Trump telling Fox News on June 18, "How do you throw somebody out that's lived in this country for twenty years? You can't just throw everybody out."

That sentiment, of course, reflected precisely the opposite of Trump's attitude in his immigration plan, in which he ripped politicians, writing, "When politicians talk about 'immigration reform' they mean: amnesty, cheap labor and open borders." In October, Trump accused his then-chief rival, Ben Carson of being "for amnesty and I'm for a very strong border."

The ad follows with a Trump tweet from August 29 in which he supported amnesty for illegal immigrants after a halt to illegal immigration.

After citing Trump's huge hotels, the ad continues, "Why does Trump support amnesty? Maybe because Trump makes big money off illegal immigrants." The ad then notes that "a federal court ruled that Trump's company hired illegal immigrants to help the construction process for Trump Tower. He even paid a million dollar fine, and his new hotel in Washington?" The add quotes a news report stating, "The Washington Post interviewed about fifteen laborers at the D.C. hotel site, reporting that many reveal they entered the U.S. illegally."

The ad concludes: "Amnesty for illegal immigrants. Big money for himself. Can conservatives trust Donald Trump?"

Unfortunately there’s a ton of negative info on Trump that hasn’t been yet discovered or publicized. The donors were afraid to take him on for months and hoped he would implode on his own. Jeb has been cowed and is mainly advertising against Rubio. Cruz only started battling Trump in the last 2 weeks and is behind the curveball.

The Democrats will have plenty of time to research everything and get it all packaged up for mass consumption soon enough, including Trump’s bragging about adultery and a whole lot of other issues that wouldn’t be effective in a GOP primary but will be in the general, such as portraying him as a billionaire who stomped all over the working class.

The guy has been a media figure for 30 years, has tons of writings and tons of videos out there. The wealth of material that can be dredged up to take down Trump is exponentially bigger than we’ve ever seen for a political candidate. While many of the GOP was afraid to take him own or hoping he’d collapse on his own, the Dems will be 100% focused on taking him out for months.

If that’a true, how come Trump has renounced British citizenship?

Larry King Live: Trump on real estate investment, propping up and/or nationalizing banks and Barack Obama... CNN Transcript - Larry King Live

April 2009:

Trump: This is the best time to think like a champion. As an example, the house is being foreclosed. You go see your bank - maybe you can make a deal, maybe you can't. But you can make a deal with a bank on another house, and much better than the one you’re living in. ... They'll do any deal to get rid of their product.

They have houses by the thousands. And you go see that bank and you make a deal.

King: How do you assess [Barack Obama]?

Trump: Well, I really like him. I think that he's working very hard. He's trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. The previous administration was a total disaster, a total catastrophe.

And, you know, the world looks at us differently than they used to. ... He was handed a pretty bad deck of cards. And I’m not saying I agree with everything he’s doing. ...

I do agree with what they're doing with the banks. Whether they fund them or nationalize them, it doesn't matter, but you have to keep the banks going.

King: Do you assess him as a champion?

Trump: Oh, yes, he's a champion. I mean, he won against all odds. When he first announced, people were giving him virtually no chance. And he’s just done something that's amazing...."

The BS Canada remarks are completely substance-free and meaningless. At least that would be the first time I ever heard of a negative ad against a candidate for something that happened before he was 4 years old. Do you have any other dirt on Cruz like him throwing a water balloon at his dog or shooting spitballs at someone in kindergarten?

20 times Donald Trump has changed his mind since June (as of August 17) Washington Post ^ | August 17, 2015 | David A. Fahrenthold
This is just part of the list:

Donald Trump's plan for the 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the United States.

Version #1: Figure it out later.

The first thing we have to do is strengthen our borders. And after that, we're going to have plenty of time to talk about it.” (July 23)

Version #2: Figure it out now. Deport “the bad ones.” Work out something so the good ones can stay.

If somebody’s been outstanding, we try and work something out.” (July 24)

Version #3: Deport the bad ones. Maybe let some of the good ones stay.

We're going to do what's right. Some are going to have to go. And some, we're just going to see what happens.” (July 26)

Version #4: Deport everybody.

But the good ones — of which there are many — I want to expedite it so they can come back in legally.” (July 27)

Version #5: Maybe don't deport everybody.

Dana Bash, CNN: “What about the ‘Dreamers?’ What about people who came here when they were children, they didn't know what they were doing, they came with their parents who brought them here illegally?... Should they have to leave, too?

Trump: “They're with their parents? It depends.” (July 29)

Version #6: Deport everybody, the sequel.

Chuck Todd, NBC: [talking about the “Dreamers”] “You're going to kick them out?”

Trump: “They have to go.” (Sunday, on “Meet the Press.”)

No only is Trump for a touchback legalization amnesty, but later, down the road, Trump has said that he would consider a citizenship amnesty.

Oct 2015: ....In an interview with POLITICO on Tuesday, Santorum explained that he's had several unusual encounters with Trump over the years.

The first came in late 2011, after the real estate mogul had called him "a loser" on Fox News. Santorum, then making his first bid for president, phoned Trump afterward to clear the air.

"I said, 'Well, I'd appreciate it if you don't call me a loser,'" Santorum recalled. "And [TRUMP] said, 'Well, but you're too conservative. You're just out there. You're just way conservative.' And the first thing he mentioned was pro-life. He said, 'you're too hard-core on pro-life, you're too hard-core on marriage. I don't know anyone who shares that opinion with you.'"....

Cruz didn't give up his Canadian citizenship until 2014. Maybe he was just hedging his bets until then.

Ted Floppy Flippity as late as last month:

Ted Cruz on immigration: "I oppose legalization Today, tomorrow, forever."

"A leftover from this weekend that I want to note for archival purposes, in case he wins the nomination and then starts claiming next summer he never said he was absolutely opposed to legalizing illegals in all circumstances. This sounds pretty absolute, no?

Isn't this the same Ted Cruz who said a month ago that we'll have a "conversation" about legalizing people once the border is secured?

If Trump gets the nomination, the left will bring up Trump's company's discrimination law suite where he settled with the Feds.
