Real-estate mogul Donald Trump called the coming Fox News-hosted Republican debate a "total disaster" and shared a Twitter user's post that called Fox News host Megyn Kelly a "bimbo" during a raging series of tweets hours before he was set to boycott the Thursday-night debate.
"The 'debate' tonight will be a total disaster â low ratings with advertisers and advertising rates dropping like a rock. I hate to see this," the Republican presidential front-runner wrote.
The real-estate tycoon had told Fox host Bill O'Reilly on Wednesday night that he hoped Fox did "well," even though he said the network would "make much less" money without him on stage.
Trump also continued his assault on Kelly, with whom he has feuded for months.
One tweet, which Trump promoted on his account Thursday morning, attacked Kelly for a GQ Magazine photo shoot and labeled her a "bimbo."
"And this is the bimbo that's asking presidential questions?" the tweet said. The user attached two photos from the shoot with text that read, "Criticizes Trump for objectifying women ... Poses like this in GQ Magazine."
The candidate shared the post a day after he had said he wouldn't refer to Kelly as a "bimbo," a term used to insult women, because doing so would "not be politically correct."
Trump drew some backlash last year when he twice promoted tweets calling Kelly a "bimbo." One of the times Trump retweeted the insult was after Kelly, a moderator at an August debate, confronted him about past comments he had made about women's looks.

You are living in a dream world if you believe Megyn Kelly is a “conservative”...
Too funny.
Boom. Exactly. Fox News is getting shown up by the Trumpster. I don’t even like the guy but really, you have to admit he doesn’t mind taking some hits in order to expose them. And I don’t believe the Kelly thing is the whole story. There is more. Trump does not like that Murdoch has asked Bloomberg to get into the race. And Bloomberg must be serious, because one of his editors in chief quiet because she couldn’t cover that story without bias at Bloomberg News. Bloomberg could upset Trump’s apple cart, maybe the only person in the world who could. Trump is ticked but is willing to let the world believe it is over Kelly.
Fox overplayed its hand when it insisted on bringing back Kelly. It was for the ratings and evidently, Ailes’ press release was to build up the tension.
However, there is no telling what is going on behind all of this.
Fox has the advantage of steering this debate any way they want. Why would someone willingly subject themselves to being humiliated by a slathering rates grabbing anchor. Fox news has shown their colors with their jaded questions. Why doesn’t Fox have Rush, Hannity and Laura Ingram ask logical questions. We know they are conservatives and will stick to a grown up line of questions. Of course Fox would not allow this because all they want is dirt.
"Real issues" don't get discussed at these debates, not with 7 or 8 people on the stage. Fox News, especially Megyn, use these as a opportunity to do "gotcha" questions so they can gather footage they deem useful for misleading public opinion.
Trump has done six of these so far, and their value to the public has diminished to basically nothing.
If a leader can't stand up to these jerks at Fox News, then how can we expect them to fight for anything else?
So glad you have awakened, I did about 2 weeks ago. Answer to your question is YES...
and call the wives of worlds leaders, fat pigs.
Megan will go on as usual and Trump will still be in his petty feud with Fox News for weeks and months - not days.
How do I know this? Because he closed his options when he said he would speak at the veterans event on the night of the debate. So even if Megan is not a moderator, he can't show up at the debate without breaking the event.
Fighting with the media directly gets the egg on ones face.
I keep thinking there is more to this story. Someone was rejected by someone — hmmmm//// “scorned woman” comes to mind.
Bloomberg could upset Trumps apple cart
I CHEER the entry of Bloomberg.
A friend of mine (Lorenzo Lamas) was on there last year, and he's already issued a statement in support of Trump.
Stay classy, Don. </sarcasm>
He started it, no he started it........grow up "The Don, The WON"
It may be wrong to call Kelly a bimbo... bimbo definition: an attractive but empty-headed young woman, especially one perceived as a willing sex object. In the photos she looks more like a whore advertising herself on Craigslist. The way she was flirting with Michael Moore the other night was sickening.
Evidently, it is perfectly okay for a Republican to trash the Media unless that Media is Fox News Channel.
When “conservative journalists”(lol)lend credibility to such Leftist monsters as Michael Moore it is “okay.” When “conservative journalists” use the bullshit “War On Women” feminazi attack in a “debate” and the target of the attack objects he is “childish” and “afraid.”
What a load of horse hockey.
FNC is not “conservative.” It is the house organ for the Uni-Party/GOPe/WSJ. Anyone with open eyes can see that.
Funny how she changed her hair to look like Trump’s hair.
Megyn Kelly
Nabela Noor
Prince Al-Waleed
It was pretty funny, the clip I saw from the Oreilly show last night.
Bill mentions that some people think Trump is a buffoon, and Trump would not let him finish, because he thought it was inappropriate that Bill used the word buffoon.
Really, Donald?
Name calling works both ways. If you bimbo someone is going to buffoon.
The guy has no party loyalty — he has run as a Democrat and a Republican — gee, not unlike Donald Trump. He’s like Bernie Sanders but ALSO an outsider from DC, unlike Sanders — so yes, I think he could get lots of votes if he jumps in. And he has maybe even more money than Trump, and owns his own media empire.
No two ways around that statement.....they are laughing their heads off right that America is so stupid as to vote this clown in office.
Putin disses Trump: Trump tweets...Putin a nasty man, and his wife is a Fat Pig. I sure told him, didn't I masses?
You don’t have to wonder what trump would do.
Remember that Saudi Prince?
Yeah, most people have forgotten about that prince too, because he’s afraid to get in Donald’s crosshairs again and is still ducked under cover.
