On today's program, Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR) and Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) confirmed they are willing to attend Trump's event tonight at Drake University. Asked if he would attend, Huckabee admitted, "we've put in a call to [Trump's] people and said that I'd be delighted to come." Though he has not heard back, Huckabee said, "if they say that they would be happy to have me, I'll be there."
Santorum expressed an equal willingness to attend Trump's event tonight, revealing, "after the debate I'm not going to be doing anything, so, I guess, if it's a charitable thing for the troops and he invites other people to come, I certainly would attend to support the troops." However, the former senator admitted he has not yet received an invitation.

I take it you don’t like Huckabee or Santorum.
I think that Monday will tell us a lot of what we need to know about who we’ll be supporting in November.
Hugs for Fatima!
Everything coming up “Roses”!
[And some musician act. Celebrities. Be a fun night.]
Ted Nugent?
That WOULD be fun!! I get it lol!
I think they are the equivalent of endorsements at this point in time in Iowa just a few days before the voting takes place. Only in the sense that they say, “Trump is OK.”
Unfortunately, that appears to be how it’s getting treated in law.
(((((Hugs)))))))
The real test is "Honey boo boo..."
Will you watch that?
Basement dwellers willing to do anything for attention.
60% of Trump supporters didn’t want him to skip the debate. But once he decided to skip the debate, 100% of Trump supporters believe that it was a brilliant move.
Personally, I think there’s already been way too many debates.
Seriously, what are we going to learn about these guys that we don’t already know?
I was advocating skipping the debate because I thought the Fox mods were worse than the NBC? mods that got such grief.
Now that he’s done it, he should send me a thank you note for my great ideas. :>)
(just kidding)
We don't know how much there is that we don't know.
12 Job interviews doesn't seem excessive, considering the loftiness of the position.
My wife, youngest son (14 in a few weeks), and I saw his concert NY Eve at Winstar Casino. Tickets were very reasonably priced ($60 each, 30 rows back...same seats for ZZ Top priced at $175). Great show, but you could tell he was a bit under the weather.
After midnight, I saw a few of the band members in the bar. I thanked them for a great show, introduced my son to their trumpet player, embarrassed him by saying he made All City band (5th chair trumpet). My son's jaw dropped when one of the singers said, "I grew up in Denton. Coppell is well known for their music program."
Instead of playing blackjack, and likely dropping a couple of hundred, I grabbed a beer at the bar, and toasted them in German (Prosit neujahr). Their sax player started rapping back at me in German, as he lived there nearly 20 years. It was a lot of fun comparing experiences.
The Commonwealth IS red .... Pittsburgh and filthydelphi are the tippers
I agree
He already did.
He doesn’t need them. They need him.
Sorry, but they are whether you like it or not.
