Also the Trump agenda isn’t final yet. Our oxen might be gotten into a safer position between now and then. Trump seems to be a “good-idea” man and the key as I see it is in the patient persuasion, not being daunted by the latest wild hair. Illiberal “liberal” ideas never pan out, while conservative ideas almost always do.

This is pretty much how it is for any worldly person. I’d sooner a frank, open egotist than one who hides it. You can reason with the first one on his own level, that he ought to be more proud of this, rather than that. The second has his own private labyrinth having God knows what in it.
And who knows, the openly proud one may see the hand of God move and learn some humility.
I love the appeal to democrats to switch their support to Cruz because Cruz is less likely to win the general election. ...................................... Lets face it, he’s too intellectual, and a great debater, what better candidate for the Democrats to have running against Hillary. Maybe the Dems are looking for a Republican who will give a great concession speech? When Dems support a Republican opponent, you really don’t want to run them. I have a feeling we are about to experience some real chaos if Hillary is indited. Get ready for a real scrambling of candidates. Its going to be like putting a dozen people in a bingo scrambler and picking out the winning ball.

After Trump is selected (not elected) by the establishment it may time to think about moving on from the former United states. I hear Guyana is nice this time of year. Maybe start a settlement or something.
Trump will make himself so obnoxious to the establishment (he’s gotta be alpha dog, remember) that they wouldn’t even DREAM of “selecting” him. He’s going to accumulate larger and larger popular coat tails as he goes. He’s a tour de force. A lot of applecarts are going to be upset by the time he struts into the Oval Office.
Imagine how screwed we’d be if Trump had run as a RAT. One thing to be thankful for.
