Is Donald Trump the sharia of American politics? I'm having trouble finding much daylight between Islamic law's repressive blasphemy standards and the mogul's thin-skinned sense of privilege.
None of us wants to be insulted or smeared. But sharia forbids not only ridicule or slander against Islam; it bans any examination that casts Islam in an unflattering light. Worse, truth is not a defense: Even if one's questions are based on undeniable past actions or verbatim quotes from scripture, tough questioning is considered blasphemous. Retribution, moreover, is often completely out of proportion to the scale of the perceived "offense."
How is Trump different?
They say politics ain't beanbag: People in and around it eventually get slammed by opponents and other critics. But to Trump, the mildest criticisms are "vicious" attacks.
Let's take the exchange last summer with Megyn Kelly that prompted Trump to whine that he was unfairly treated and to heap abuse on Ms. Kelly in the aftermath. (Before I go on, note that I support Mr. Trump's rival Ted Cruz, and that I am on friendly terms with Megyn Kelly, on whose program I periodically appear.) Given the limited time, the slew of candidates to engage, and the grave problems faced by the country, could Kelly have made a better choice than to grill Trump on his derogatory remarks about women? As they say in the debate biz, that's debatable. But the questions she asked were hardly irrelevant..

How is Trump different?
He is not. Donnie is more divisive than bambi, he will continue bambi’s destruction of the USA with a couple of variations.
Your position is a respectable one.
If for some reason Trump failed to get the nomination and Cruz was the nominee, I will pull the lever for Cruz, and do so with enthusiasm.
Unfortunately, the current crop of hybrid Cruz-worshipers/Trump-haters will not reciprocate. They’ll sit on their hands and stay home, or perhaps even vote ‘RAT.
All so they can go “NYAH NYAH NYAH, we showed THEM!”
And that’s sad.
FINALLY............ we have someone willing to STAND UP to the Bull Sht media, the BS politicians, the BS Chamber of Commerce... and THEY DON’T LIKE IT!
ANDREW.... YOU ARE FULL OF SHIITE!!!!!!
So these three are not going to ask other candidates about illegal immigration, Muslims in America, etc? Does The Donald have some monopoly on wanting to curb illegal immigration and protect the country from young Muslim men from the Middle East? I think several candidates share Trump’s concerns about these issues and will take questions. They did throw a fit and run and hide.
I watched the entire Trump BOR interview. Trump did a fine job of explaining all of this and he did not appear petty.
Trump mentioned several times the bizarre FOX satirical “press release”. We are talking about a “news” channel that released a fake press statement on the eve of a debate, mocking just one of the candidates.
Spam. The Weapon of Choice for worshippers of THE ONE!
“At the rate this is going trumpees will have bashed/trashed everyone except lefties.”
Is there anyone or anything you have not bashed? And you criticize someone else for bashing?
That is spooky.
Wow. How can I respond to such a well reasoned and well thought out response?
I am at a loss for words.
GO TRUMP GO!
Away.
Meanwhile, I am not voting for any of the rest of the card here on the GOP side, after Trump or an eligible Cruz that is.
Trump has managed to blow up the GOPe. He has managed to pin the debate on the critical questions of immigration, trade, Muzzies, PC gone beserk, the debt and a few other things I have as my issues. I notice no one takes him up on the issues these days, just his personality. Kind of like shooting the messenger.
If we don't get this nation back on course here ASAP, we are gone, if we have not gone over the edge already. Frankly, even if elected, he is going to have an uphill battle against the Congress and the Media.
For someone to allege he will settle old scores and not name them, I find that lacking in credibility. Why he wants to take that on this job is mind boggling. He seems patriotic. Lets compare him to the enigma we have now: taking on old scores, check. Hates the country, check. Open immigration, check. Loves Muzzies, check. Loves trade as it is, check. PC as hell, check. I will vote for the antithesis of what we have now.
Politics in general and the presidency in particular are not for the thin of skin. And Trump’s skin seems to be about 3 millimeters thick.
Damn, dead ringer for Trump. You must be a genius to notice that when no one else in the world would ever think of it. Can you share more wisdom, about anything? The world is waiting.
The Trump haters are really getting loonie....joining Beck in the funny farm.

LOL!
You need to tell that to THE ONE. His whole schtick is insulting anyone who disagrees with him or challenges him.
