I don't know if it's true, but Diamond said that Wells Fargo just cancelled their commercials at the debate. If it's true, I'm going to send them a thank you email, as I have one of my fairly big IRAs being handled by them.
Ha! Jerry Falwell Jr is on CNN now. He said that his dad got a lot of flack for supporting Reagan over Carter. In the critic’s view it was a Hollywood actor with a divorce under his belt vs a Sunday School teacher, a Southern boy who ‘shares his faith’.
He said that he father said (paraphrasing a bit), in the voting booth, it’s not our job to choose the best Sunday School teacher. It’s not our job to choose the best pastor. It’s our job to choose the best leader for our country. We need somebody who has the skills to run the country.
