Harry Reid: ‘I’m Kind of Pulling for’ Trump
Breitbart ^ | 27 Jan 2016 | Michelle Fields

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said Wednesday that he's considering backing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

"Look, we've gotten along fine," Reid said. "With that bunch of people running, I'm kind of pulling for him."

According to The Hill, Reid then tried to walk back his comments.

Asked about Trump's statement, Reid added, 'Oh, I remember the good old days when he did a fundraiser or two for me.'

Reid quickly walked back his comments, apologizing for joking about supporting Trump - whom he called a 'hateful demagogue who will do immeasurable damage to our country.'

'There's some things I shouldn't joke about,' he said from the Senate floor. 'The danger of a Donald Trump candidacy to our country is not a joke.'

On Tuesday Donald Trump appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe and spoke of his good relationship with Reid. From the Washington Times:
'I've always had a good relationship with Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) . . .

Well that sells me. If Harry says Trump is the guy, that’s all I need to know. BTW Freepers: Could you tell me the best knife to cut my carotid artery?

Reverse psychology. Trump is the one the Dems fear most.

Reid walked back the comments. He is no Trump supporter. Some get carried away.

You know I grow quite weary of this “noob” schtick. As if it’s a slight akin to a Lib aiming to demean someone. Tea party member you’re a tea bagger!! Ahem

So here’s a news flash, I’ve been around close to 15 years. Held the name AbsoluteJustice, put FR away for years, forgot login and got a new one.

We have the winner!!

How quickly Freepers forget when Harry Reid or any democrat says anything about a Republican it's really the opposite that is true. So when Reid says he's pulling for Trump it really means he's scared to death of him.

They think Trump hurts the Republican ‘brand.’

Not as much as Cruz!!! They hate Cruz.. They are starting to cozy up with Trump.. Why? Because they know he will deal with them!

Of course he is. Trump’s helped keep him in office and is more than willing to work with Reid. They’ll be strong allies.

when in the heck will these trumpets WAKE UP and smell the coffee. My mother warned me from the cradle on to never trust some one who, in a time of distress, told you how wonderfully he will take care of you if you put trust in him—like Hitler. Demagogues sound good, but the will give you something in one hand and take away your freedom with the other.

Duh? I honestly don’t know any democrats who aren’t voting for trump. Even hardcore feminazis. I don’t know any Constitutinalists voting for him either. Remember 2000 elections when he was a fan of single payor.. For some reason, only 1 in 50 ish people I talk to don’t remember either. These are limited numbers of people mind you.
