Donald Trump told CNN that when FOX News put out its snarky press release today, he said, "Bye,bye!"

Instead Donald Trump will hold a fundraiser for wounded veterans on CNN at the same time.

It was a smart decision. Look at what Donald Trump is going to miss-

“I have to withdraw that and instead say that there is no point in walking into an obvious ambush.”

Agreed. Strong display of good judgement.

Trump won’t start a fight he can’t win. Useful quality in the POTUS.

FYI, both are eligible for the senate. On that, there is no controversy or discussion.

I do understand your argument but appreciate that one candidate will not embody everything on the list of must haves. Sounds like ethanol is the deal breaker for you.

Who wants to watch a debate with Jeb, Paul, Christie and Kasich? Sheesh, add their support together and it’s less than the top 3-4.

These debates have become entertainment and money for the networks - people get their news elsewhere and the media is having a hissy fit as their power dwindles.

It is not just ethanol, but that he said he would use the EPA to enforce the mandate.

That means the EPA isn't going anywhere.

I can't think of a single agency which has done more damage to American Industry, and the guy who is going to make America great again just telegraphed that he is not going to shut it down.

That sort of cognitive dissonance, riding on the heels of Iowa's Governor calling to defeat Cruz because Cruz would eliminate the mandate reeks of selling America down the river for a 'deal'. If 10% of your MPG, and damage to fuel systems in older cars, small engines, outboard motors, generators, welders, and lawnmowers, not to mention marine engines, doesn't hurt America, just wait until they mandate even more.

..Trump has a mole inside Fox News and he was warned in advance and THAT IS WHY HE DROPPED OUT....

Good point. A great qualification for a President is the ability to have intelligence sources inside the enemy camp.
Thanks. That was great.

..Well, if it’s all about dethroning the money, then why does everyone here hate Bernie so much...

Surely you jest. Bernie’s tax plan would increase taxes 19.7 trillion over 10 years resulting in a 40% tax increase to everyone who actually pays taxes.

The hardest thing for me to comprehend is why Trump gets a pass on his 2012 condemnation of Romney's "self-deport" plan as "mean-spirited" and "crazy".

He wasn't a politician then, so it wasn't even a question of worrying what could get through Congress. That was just his view as a citizen, and if he really thought self-deporting was "mean-spirited", then why should anyone believe he's really going to follow through with forcible deportations -- assuming it is even possible?

I think the guy is a weathervane. Early on, he spoke off the cuff without really thinking through his words a few times, and got a huge response to some of what he said. So he pivoted to that, and now is pushing it hard because he's figured out that is what his audience wants to hear. I just don't believe. If he makes it to the general election, I suspect we'll hear him start saying things that pander more to moderates. But by then, we'll be snookered, and it'll be too late.

Oh well. and Semper Fi.

You bring up a GREAT example but now he is the messiah of anti illegal aliens? He receives a pass because emotion is a powerful thing. Dare I say the “H” word but in the late 30s he used it quite effectively to control the masses. Forget his positions and what he said in the past he is now saying things we exactly want to hear. He is an effective saleman making billions because he is an opportunist. I don’t begrudge him that, that is what highly skilled salesmen look for. In this instance however we are shielding our eyes because he is saying what we want to hear vs holding him accountable for his decades of actions that say otherwise.

This is EXACTLY what got Obama elected. We now have our Obama.

"It's not just the ethanol, but that he said he would use the EPA to enforce the mandate. That means the EPA isn't going anywhere"

Yet another troubling issue about Trump.

As for FOX ambushing and trying to rig the debate (they can't really be called debates )- it should be expected.

FOX has been morphing into NBC-ABC-CBS for a long time.

But these same tactics will be used against the nominee in the general election. Will not showing up for debates, work in the general election?

Megyn Kelly has switched, right before the Fox Debate, to her new dykedoo, guaranteed to make her look tough as nails and intimidate all the boys onstage. Minus one...

Maybe she has read our criticisms of her unprofessional streetwalker image here on FR. I've posted a few. I think it sets back the quest for women to be taken seriously to have the FoxNews females with the wet-look lips, bed-head hair, fake eyelashes and peekaboo clothing. Megyn is among the worst envelope pushers. Gretchen Carlson is natually beautiful and keeps her wardrobe and makeup in good taste.

Only an idiot would know of this liberal attack plot and still attend this “debate”.

Those that denounce Trump for having the respect for himself and America to not attend this liberal attack event are spineless idiots.
