Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, the spokesman of the refuge occupation, was shot and killed after he charged police during a roadside stop north of Burns on Tuesday, according to a man on Facebook who claims to be the driver of one of two vehicles involved in the highway shooting.
McConnell said he noticed movement, and Finicum "took off" in the pickup with the remaining passengers. He said Payne and Cox described encountering a police roadblock about a mile north on the highway and apparently tried to get around it, becoming stuck in the snow.
"When he exited the vehicle, the rear wheels were still spinning," McConnell said. "He charged at law enforcement" and was shot.

1. The men who died under his command and the families they left behind might not agree with your interpretation. In fact, Patton wouldn’t agree with your interpretation since you’ve take the quotes completely out of context.
2. A source is only “good” if it’s legitimate. Yes, multiple reliable sources are preferable to a single reliable source. However, quality always outweighs quantity.
3. Same as 2.
4. Are you familiar with the terms “obfuscate” or “irrelevancy”? They’re often used in arguments by people who don’t have adequate facts to support their point. Put another way, would you have been happier if she had used the term “vehicle”?
5. Did you actually think before you posted this question: how would it be possible to plan to video an event you didn’t know was going to happen?
6. I’m always interested in the points of view of “others”. That’s one of the reasons I love Free Republic. But, in the end, I draw my conclusions based on facts and logic without weighing whether they align with majority opinion.
Exactly, Reb! Thank you for that.
McConnell was 100-200 yards away and behind the blockade of police vehicles. He even admits that he didn’t see it happen, but was piecing together information told to him from other people. When Ryan Payne put both hands outside the window as instructed and then tried to stick his head out the window to talk to them, he was fired upon. That’s when Finicum hit the gas, Sockman. But you wouldn’t know that since you refuse to listen to the audio. Might damage the narrative handed down by your overlords.
LOL! You are such a fraud that it's actually becoming entertaining. Please, continue.

I actually questioned it but the poster saw it on the live feed.
Can’t form solid conclusions yet. I’m not the only one saying that.
I’ve never argued the feds shouldn’t turn over the video.
Just that it’s too early to convict the LOEs of murder like some here find so easy to do.
Bottom line is that LaVoy’s death was at the end of a bunch of choices that LaVoy himself made. No-one held a gun to his head and forced him to make those choices. In self defense this is the situational awareness concept, you base your choices on what presents the least risk. LaVoy was well aware he could die - but chose to be where he was and do what he did anyway.

So, dynoman - you COULD dispute the contentions posted by ponygirl.
Ask her for her source. Challenge what she posted.
Instead, you dance away with some lame post about "solid conclusions".

It's either true, or it's not true.
Does that help you, or are you still clinging to your Patton observations like a warm woobie?
You've never argued that the feds SHOULD turn over the video.
In 35+ posts on this thread.
Good grief it is a given the LOEs should turn over their video. That’s not even up for debate or argument. Wow.
My main point is that everything Lavoy did was his own choice. There is no way people can say he bears 0% responsibility for what happened to him. No one on this thread got killed in the stand off because we made different choices.

“I heard Victoria Sharp in the early morning of 01-27-2016 give testimony on a live chat. I clearly heard her say that, LaVoy “RAN at the cops shouting, Shoot me, go ahead, Shoot me, Shoot me now. And, They Did.” The commentators Asked if is she was sure. She Said Yes. The live chat said they were recording a live testimony. The site is down now. Now she is telling a different story.”
Here’s another person who saw them smoking pot on the live feed, in the comments here;

No joking. On the live feed, the remaining terrorists have just started smoking weed. “
I too see it your way:
“Most of these people were not shot because fedzilla did not want them dead.”
Its kind of like the ISIS beheading some poor bloke. They only need one videotape to scare the populace. What the fed wants is a ferocious reputation.
