Land use is a huge issue because the federal government keeps acquiring more of it. Who better knows how to manage land, locals or bureaucrats in DC? The land should be returned to the states.
I don’t think it is that the government is acquiring more, it is how they are restricting usage. Public lands are for public use. The people administering those lands seem to think no use is good use.
