If the allegations are true about how many pennies on the dollar for this charity actually make it a deserving recipient this is despicable. No excuse. It is sad how many charity organizations are becoming comparable to Fortune 500 companies for employee salaries.
The information that is out there is very disturbing to me and I would like to see their reply. Nothing on their website about these allegations.
Wish I could say this is unique or an aberration, but it is standard practice among most large charities. Most of the money goes to fundraising and organization and only a token amount goes to actually fulfill the mission.
The Boy Scouts of America clearly showed that this won’t be ending anytime soon by selling the boys to the predators in exchange for corporate support of their ever growing full time staff.
Not true. According to Charity Navigator.org they spend over 84% of the money they raise on Wounded Warriors and their families. That's as of two or three months ago, the last time I checked.
