First, it helps Trump.
Second, Cruz could benefit from it but only IF all the other GOPe candidates agree not to attack him, but support him.
But it could destroy Cruz as well if they all still think they have a chance and attack him, piling on.
Well, my mind hasn’t gotten around this yet, it’s totally “outside of the box”...
But I can see that it’s likely the other candidates will attack the poll leader who is there- Cruz.
The ‘optics’ of that will probably be bad for Cruz, maybe not.
Cruz won’t be able to benefit,,that’s the rub.
The Cruzers are RELIEVED think it gives their guy a break. It doesn’t necessarily mean that.
