For that matter, if as some suggested up thread, that the debate sans Trump will become a gang up on Ted fight, great! What do they think Ted's been doing in the Senate. It's nearly all been a all against Ted fight there. He relishes it. And although he may not be winning votes there he's been winning big on points with those watching. Which is how a Senator that green got to this position in the race. He couldn't leverage daddy's base like Rand. He couldn't leverage the race card like Obama. He isn't embed in the Cuban community enough to leverage that. He's Don Quixote nobly fighting windmills, or at least windmill subsidies and mandates. Or he's Cyrano fighting the whole room at once, all the while making brilliant quips and deprecating his own appearance. Trump is a fool to give him the chance. Even the pro-Trump polls say lots of Iowans are undecided. Well either they're going to stay undecided and stay home or they're going to decide real soon now and how better than to watch the last debate, perhaps starting it bit late if the suddenly #3 Hawkeye's BB game runs long. I hope Iowa wins and Ted gets the score pre-debate. A comment about how Iowa, Iowa State and UNI have all defeated #1 ranked teams this year would go over well with Iowa Values. They won't be deciding by watching a Trump charity event.
Don Quixote is a delusional old man, whose "tilting at wind mills" has become common parlance for some idiot doing something stupid/crazy/bizarre which has NO good outcome at all.
Cyrano? Tell me, please, that you're kidding with THAT allusion.
Please don't try to use literary allusions when you don't actually know the characters.
