Iowa’s played against the refs many a time in the past.

Iowa has played plenty of games with lousy officiating, out numbered on the court 6-5 or worse. The worst I've ever seen, in any sport, was in 1982. Hawkeye fans from that era
all remember it. The nearly decapitating no call, which today would be a flagrant two with disqualification. (Sadly Iowa BB suffered a true decapitation 11 years later, albeit off the court.) Then the final fake foul call with the ref charging and pointing right at a player so far out of the play he couldn't have touched anyone had he wanted. I can replay them in my mind, remember the venue and the players names and most of all the damn ref's name. Oh well, we just beat the team the refs aided back then, for the second time this season. The best response it to beat them, refs and all.
