I believe Donald Trump's meteoric and sustained rise is a direct result of Obama's largely successful campaign to fundamentally transform America and the establishment Republicans' unwillingness to fight back.

Grassroots conservatives have wanted someone to stand up to Obama and stand up for our nation -- and they are sick and tired of Beltway politicians and pundits alike patronizingly assuring them that nothing extraordinary is occurring and to calm down. "We'll take care of it after we're re-elected." Sure.

Yes, some of these establishment, moderate or, if you prefer, unexcitable types have finally come around, belatedly acknowledging Obama's intentions but failing to admit they were slow on the uptake, much less that they're sorry for branding the rest of us who caught on years before they did as mean-spirited, extremist or kooky.

It's important to review this history, not for "I told you so" purposes, but because it's relevant to our current hotly contested GOP campaign and how we choose to go forward. It's crucial in assessing and judging Ted Cruz's actions in valiantly trying to stand up for the people against Obama's tyranny....

I do think the man has a way of getting into their heads and taking over.......which is why we see such vile here now....it went past passion to something else.....and not just here.

Today I visited other sites and comments where they all seem to be noticing this junk talk being pushed into their conversations.

If you think of the industry and shady means of business Trumps in , the thugs and underlings he says himself he attracts, then I would assume “their boy” running has them out and about infiltrating everywhere.... ........what's interesting is people who are regulars at sites have noted the difference this year from other years.....(it's the vulgarity and such which goes well beyond just rude)....and Trump does bring that out of people.

I was disappointed when I read several people mentioning FR on other sites comment sections........that this site had become an extension of the Trump campaign.....there were others that chimned in as well....it was hard to read let me tell you.... They weren't saying bad things about FR ..just astonished Freepers were supporting Trump......so I guess some of us aren't just seeing things as out of sink here when other Conservative sites are noticing the trend here.

However, I do think Jim will settle the issue once the Primary is over and the general begins. Until then we are not alone in this influx of Trumpitis.

Something I’ve noted of recent is that people here are now knocking Limbaugh, Stein, Levin and other radio and hosts who before Trump stepped on the stage were generally favored....now they’re suddenly the enemy. It’s like anyone and every thing that isn’t for Trump is out to get them! But then Trump thinks that as well...so....
First - they follow their leaders’ life long way of trashing and actually destroying those who oppose him. That is very unbecoming to most Americans.
Second - they cannot argue on facts with logic. Trump provides no consistency in background. There is nothing in his history that gives any reason to trust him and they know that too. But they will support and defend him regardless.

Problem is, that does Sen. Cruz even have a CHANCE, being that PRIORITY is to not have a CLINTON or a SANDERS enter the WH.

You cannot use logical reasoning with people who arrived at their choice made by a lack thereof....and unfortunately there are many who make choices every day based on their feelings or how someone makes the feel....reason be damned.
