Great cartoon.
In Feb. 1968, my friends and I were in eighth grade and we went to see “2001: A Space Odyssey” in the movies.
After that, I envisioned a time that I would live to see when we would visit a Hilton out in space orbit, and I would be laying poolside on a lounge chair watching the Earth roll by in an artificial gravity orbiting resort center.
We went to the moon in July 1969.
Then the hippies and the dippies screwed up the world, the Vietnam War did,then OPEC did, then disco did.
The dream was over.
Now,like your cartoon indicates, we are pulled back into the Crusade era, and we will have to fight a once vanquished foe, to extinction, this time.
