New Hampshire Democrats are turning against Hillary Clinton just two weeks before the pivotal primary contest, leaving her facing a 16-point deficit to rival Bernie Sanders, a new Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll shows.
In the Republican race, Donald Trump has strengthened his support among likely GOP voters and he now leads Texas Sen. Ted Cruz by a 33-14 percent margin, the poll reveals.
Sanders and Trump are now the clear favorites in the Granite State as voters begin to firm up their choices, but an upset in the Iowa caucus next Monday could still shake things up.

I wonder if hitlery will have a mental/physical breakdown soon.
Hasn’t it been suggested Sanders would likely win NH and not much else?
Stick a fork in her, if you don’t mind being squirted with cellulite.
Sweet. Have to make sure those likely voters can get to their correct polling station.
Hillary is going down!
Well, yes. But not quite to the extent of Monica Lewinsky.
Yes I think the media is trying to keep a lid on Bernie’s true support vs Hillary. The only thing I can say about the Democratic’s race is formed by observation. I live in NY. Have a lady friend in PA. I see eveidence of Bernie support in both places. I see ZERO evidence of Hillary support in either place. I realize it’s anecdotal, but it’s there for anyone to see.
Hillaryous. Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!
LOL! Huma might disagree with you. : )
The thing to note is that Cruz's erosion seems to be going to Trump. No one else seems to be getting traction.
New Hampshire is a different story. NH is liberal and not Cruz country. It was supposed to go for Jeb, Christie, Kasich, or maybe Rubio. A couple of weeks ago, the Cruz campaign was looking at a likely fourth place finish. Again, no one else seems to be getting any traction, and Cruz may finish second.
Several candidates are likely to drop out after Iowa and New Hampshire. If their voters go to Trump, he will have a very commanding lead. But if their voters go to Cruz or Rubio (or possibly even Christie???) and it turns into a 40-30 race with another 30 percent divided among two or three others, we will finally have an interesting contest. The media might even begin to balance its coverage a bit. This is a great danger to Trump, as he would have to share the stage with a serious challenger who knows a lot more than he does and has a consistent conservative record.
It's an interesting dilemma for the moderate Republicans. The last couple of cycles, they have smugly watched the moderate candidate cruise to victory while the fractured conservative wing did its speed dating thing with the crush of the week. This year, the moderates have failed to unite. As their candidates drop out, do they go for Trump, whom they dislike personally and don't trust, out of fear of Cruz, who they believe means what he says (i.e. is a real conservative)?
Or to put it slightly differently, do they go for Trump because they believe his recent flip-flops on so many issues are not genuine, and that he's actually a RINO in drag? If that happens, Trump may win with two constituencies: the liberal wing of the party which is afraid of Cruz, and the "I'm mad as hell" crowd which is crossing its fingers and hoping Trump is serious about his current positions. Should that happen, one of those two groups is in for a nasty surprise.
Or just possibly, the moderates might breathe a sigh of regret over Jeb and Kasich, take a deep breath, and take a chance on one of the two tea party Republicans in the race, Rubio and Cruz.
Same here in South FL. Lots of Bernie stuff with an occasional shillary bumper sticker. Even my looney left neighbor took her shillary stuff down.
Same here in NJ. See lots of Bernie bumper stickers but not one Hillary sticker. Same with Trump. Lots of Trump supporters. In fact, almost everyone at work, men and women are Trump supporters. Although I work in an industry that leans heavily Republican. Still good to see Trump support here. He may very well take the state against Hillary.
Cruz is getting crushed!
Concur. It’s not just bumper stickers. Yes they are scattered about, but it’s lawn signs, roadside billboards, smaller wooden boards in lots and high traffic intersections. And I am serious when I say Zero for Hillary. I’m not Trump exaggerating. ;-)
It truly saddens me to know that there are people who consider themselves American who would even think about voting for Socialst Sanders. Have they gone mad or are they really so ignorant? If they want to live in a Sanders type country why are they waiting? Why not just move to Argentina and live the experience new?
My ideal scenario. Mr. Trump and the beotch win the primaries and Trump wipes the floor with her....Every floor. Would love to see her on top of the dimi’s and then buried under a landslide of voters given her fat arse the biggest boot they could. After that, the handcuffs!
A girl can dream, can’t she?? This is mine!
Thanks for the good reading tonite. Been a long work day. Time to catch up.
TC
Trump would take her down if they are the respective party nominees!
Cap’n, are you saying my dream could come true? Am I back in the land of America, where it is GREAT? Or it will be again!!
