I cannot understand why there is this so-called "conservative purity" stuff going on.

But that's the point, there is NO "conservative purity" stuff going on.

Mark is whining about a strawman. The only way his argument would hold water is if all of us "defectors" were advocating non-conservatives to all those other offices ... House, Senate, Governors, Supreme Court, Mayors, Dog Catchers.

He is using a childish argument, a logical fallacy of which I forget the name, where because someone argues a position, then that someone always advocates that position always.

We are advocating discretion in this Presidential race, to NOT run a candidate that suits our personal fancy or religious belief, but one that can win in those twelve states that decide the election. ( see William F. Buckley, nominate the most conservative candidate who can win ).

Mark is telling us nominate the most conservative person, period.

He compounds this mistake by lashing out at us, and it is really ticking people off, alleging they are sacrificing principles, even the Declaration. He is not even a fraction as smart as he thinks he is.

Trump started the fighting, and don’t say he wants to win. If he argued conservatism, i would have no problem voting for him. Instead, he attacked like a libtard...the birther thing was the last straw and made me oppose him.
