Drill down to the actual summation statement in the thread, at the ad site, and in Ted’s tweet;
“This is actually a pretty good ad exposing how Trump has used eminent domain to bulldoze an elderly woman’s home to create a limo parking lot for his casino:”
That statement asserts - as fact - the following;
- An elderly woman’s home was bulldozed.
- Trump used eminent domain to bulldoze the woman’s home.
- a limo parking lot was built where the home was.
All three in factual reality are not true. They are lies.
Do you not have a problem with using lies to make a point? If there is a need to lie to make a point all credibility disappears in a flash of short circuited logic.
Isn’t that a problem?? Especially for a pricipled conservative like Ted? If not why not??
Cruz didn't say any of them. He said his ad. Which is 100% true. He's not responsible for the media getting it wrong. The media gets a lot wrong. Just ask Ted⦠or Trump. For that matter, Trump is not responsible for your points not being true. He certainly tried to make them true. In collusion with his Atlantic City friends. Just as Ted said. Trump's failures don't make Ted's ad about Trump's collusion and intent wrong. Now stop lying about Ted's tenses and try find a defense for attempted bulldozing. Because that's Ted's charge. And Trump's guilty. And his only defense, no matter how much it reeks, is that it was 'legal.' Too bad Kelo was argued before Ted became Solicitor General of TX. He'd probably have sent an amicus brief. It might have helped prevent the Supreme anti-Constitutional 'legality.' But President Ted would try to get it reversed. President Trump would keep it.
