Every state has Progressives to some degree. Particularly in the urban areas where they elect Progressives.

This article is amusing because it reveals the inherently contradictory gun control positions that Progressives and gun control advocates hold. It’s something of a threat in deep blue states, but in Georgia it’s just worthy of scorn and mockery.

Three things seem to drive progressivism:

Higher population density

and

The amount of government distributed money (be it directly as 'benefits' or as employment/contracts).

and

The presence of a College or University
