Can you not build up and promote your own candidate without tearing another one down? Cruz is a good Senator and citizen and will be needed to go to bat for whoever is elected president. This country cannot survive on the efforts of only one man.
It really is sad to watch all this unfold. We’re used to fighting over scraps. Now, we have TWO anti-establishment candidates who are dominating the polls, and what happens? The usual circular firing squad breaks out. But this time we instead are aiming at our own feet.

Yes, we need all the conservatives we can get to stop the rampaging marxists. I think Cruz is a good Senator on balance. Especially if he tones down the grandstanding. That just makes his occasional trips off the conservative plantation that much more frustrating.
