He’d take more votes from the Beast than Trump Look at 1980 and John Anderson. Same effect.

His possible running is confusing to me. Would Bloomberg be running to the left - or to the right of Trump?

Of course he would - what a better way to peel off the “soft Democrats” / urban moderates from Hillary?

And Bloomer would get 4% vote getting his butt kicked.

A Bloomberg run would almost certainly draw more from Clinton (since it would give left leaning folks someone who is not soiled with Clinton sleaze to push their ideas, gun-grabbing in particular) than from the GOP nominee, though it sounds like he’ll only get in if he thinks he can win and as of now he only thinks he can win if it’s Trump v. Sanders. I think his analysis is wrong, that he’d only get a the thin sliver of the GOP who think like George Will and a thin sliver of the ‘Rats who aren’t happy with open talk of socialism.

I wouldn’t mind seeing this myself...let the Dems have their vote split for a change.

Donald Trump Would 'Love' to See Michael Bloomberg Run

Of course he would. This could actually put New York into play. As it stands we went 64-35 statewide last time ( Barry 4.5 million versus 2.5 million Romney ).

It would take a straight-up crossover of 15% to cover the net 30 required gain to win this state. That's asking a lot, even for Trump who might be expected to close it to maybe 4 million versus 3 million via 1/2 million crossovers. There are not a lot of stay-home (R) votes up here, many are already officially (C) but voted for Romney on either the (R) or (C) ballot line.

Throw that idiot Bloomberg into the mix as (I) and this state could very well be on the table. He would hit them where it hurts in NYC counties that go 90-10 or 85-15. If New York reports a even close result at 9:00pm election night then the (D)ummycrats better start drinking heavily.

Bloomberg might actually affect some other states like Colorado as well because of his tampering in their affairs through his psychopathic gun-grabbing organizations. Polarizing screwballs like Nader didn't just bring out leftists, but they also brought out anti-Nader voters that normally stayed at home. I expect similar with this treasonous nutjob elitist globalist shill Anti-American swine Bloomberg.
