Tina Fey owes her career to Sarah Palin. After she left SNL, she was quickly fading into obscurity, then along came Sarah Palin and her career was revived.

Um? No. I hate Tina Fey but after SNL she spent a decade on 30 Rock winning Emmys. I didn’t even watch that show but I know that much.

Yeah, except maybe that "30 Rock" thing. I think that was on for a couple of weeks and somebody said they won some awards or something, but yeah, Palin probably saved her career, OK.

It used to gall me that Dennis Miller built at least half of his SNL career on Dan Quayle’s back. When he left SNL and had his own talk show for a bit, I was surprised at how well he treated his guests. I liked his rants on HBO okay but became a fan of his when he “woke up” after 9/11.
