Actually he was a great mayor. He actually LOWERED the murder and other violent crime rates in the city from where Rudy left them, which were already historic lows. By the time he left there, New York City had lower violent crime rates than a number of states.
Obviously, of course, you have guns and his pet peeves, but NYC did great under him, overall.
He was an elitist dictator, but if I was the kind of person who could live in NYC I’d probably want him to be the mayor there. His “congestion pricing” nonsense (which never came to pass) would have reserved driving in lower Manhattan for wealthy people. If they want their little kingdom there, let them go fight the Muslims when they show up in airliners to destroy their office buildings.
Bloomberg was not a great mayor. He was lucky because he ran against Mark Green and was able to get Giuliani’s endorsement. And his term limits scam was a crime. He is an arrogant, nanny-state scold and his gay lisp make him even more laughable.
The man who made a Supersize Slurpee illegal was a great crime fighter? You are delusional.
ANY city or county can LOWER their violent crime rates by how the crimes are charged.
2 young black men were found on the railroad tracks near the Mena, Ark, airport when Clinton was Governor. They were both shot in the back of the head.
Both deaths were recorded as SUICIDES.
The Chief of School Police in Miami vowed to lower the crime problem in the Miami schools. When they finally fired him & reviewed the records, the UNDER charging of school troubles were rampant.
A dirty trick, but one that is effective when fed to a media that is pussy footing all the time for the Democrats.
