Actually the banning of DDT is very controversial some think it could lessen the disease factor in Africa by an enormous amout others not so much.

I still think the banning in Africa was a mistake. How many people died? These things have to be studied by smarter people than me but banning it at that time in Africa....no.

It’s quite simple really. I live in the swamps of Delaware and mosquitos are an obsession in these parts.

You can believe, come the spring, that the mosquito trucks are out in full force....the airplanes too spray the bug killer from the sky over the big fields.

We have no problem with mosquitos because no silly environmental agency said I would be better to allow the mosquitos to multiply and kill human kind than to offend the greenies.

Here in America we simply would not tolerate sleeping under mosquito netting that some dictator can get money from a foreign government for the populace being killed by marlaria.

A disease quite easy to eradicate.

It’s a pathetic political tool and Rachel Carson was once my heroine until I found out she is a big fat liar.

Bah, humbug.
