Fact is Trump has a welded bond with millions of his American supporters. It's historic and not seen in modern America. You'd have to dial back to the founders to see this type of relationship between a leader and the people.
And the frauds and D.C. insiders just can't handle it. So there ya have it.

Cruz has melted down to a useless puddle of “principles” (as his devotees love to crow about). He lacks any ability to project the strength that a polarized America desperately needs. So, his devotees are only fueled by their hate for Trump because there is nothing left in Cruz to support (except for his ineffective “principles”) and they blame Trump’s strength for Cruz’ weakness. He has become a parody of Ron Paul and his followers the new Ronulans. I was really hoping for more from him. Quite sad.

Actually Cruz is very funny, but I guess you have to listen to his speeches to hear it.

Like I said, it wasn’t that long ago we were fighting the commies with real bullets. I was there. I’ll be damned if I won’t do my best to keep one out of the White House. Hell, I voted for McCain. Even Romney. Yuck! He’s not my first choice, but you’re dammed right I’ll vote for Trump over commies Hillary or Sanders. And pray that he wins.

What I am observing with most of my friends who hate trump and love cruz is this.. You are missing the point and are stuck in the political past..
I and all of us worked hard for a republican congress - we took it in the pants with McCain & Romney - hell, 8 million republicans didn’t show up to vote for Romney..
What has that gotten us? NOTHING.. we are fed up - honestly the only politician in the last 30 years who hasn’t screwed me over or turned out to be a lame POS is Scott Walker -
Tell me one thing politics as usual is going to do for us? NOTHING - I’m taking a chance with Trump because as much as I like Cruz, he can’t win and if he were to pull it off wouldn’t get a single thing done...
I’m done with the GOP I’m Done with the talking heads, I’m done with Political Correctness, I’m pretty much done with all of it..
If Trump flames out and disappoints, then we are pretty much doomed anyway and will be in a civil war..

Unlike you, I have actually met and conversed with Mr. Donald Trump. He is a very refined and extremely respectful, personable and soft spoken gentleman. Ditto for his son I met, Eric Trump.
