Trump’s wrong on this one.
Trump needs to really understand the depths of unconstitutionality the feds have plumbed including unconstitutionally commandeering state lands outside of the guidelines of Article I, Section 8, Clause 17.
Those lands constitutionally BELONG to the states NOT to the feds.
Mr. Trump, America’s greatness is in the AMERICAN PEOPLE and their freedom to govern themselves individually and locally which includes state governance. America’s greatness is NOT in the unconstitutional federal government which is expressly limited by the Constitution.

I disagree with Trump on this one but at least he has shown the ability to evolve on issues as he gets more familiar with them. Hopefully he will change his mind. At least I don’t see Trump trying to snatch millions of additional acres from states for so called monuments.
Hunting and Fishing Liscences are issued by each.
Fees from them go to conservation programs for that state.
Hunters and Fishers contribute to conservation via the state, not the Fed.
Actually, neither. Jefferson’s ideas, put into the Land Ordinance of 1785, is that the land, as much as possible, belongs in the hands of INDIVIDUALS. Trump’s wrong but the states don’t have rights to seal this off in unlimited ways either.
Yup. Trump screwed this up. He needs to be educated, flip, and apologize for his error in judgement.
