So far, reading the comments in this thread, and I am in full agreement with everything you’ve been saying. Sometimes I wonder if I’m still at FR....or some other alternate reality website (if you know what I mean)...

I’ve been on Free Republic, I believe for 16 years, and there has been some tense moments, but NEVER EVER anything this bad.

Yes, I know what you mean.....but I have to also say that some here have waited years for a “rebellion” against the establishment. For many it doesn't matter to them who leads it as long as it happens, that it gets their juices going, and they see a possibility for the revolt they've so wanted....... They see Trump as the reflection of what they want this to look like....and sound like. So of course they're jumping on board his train. It's exciting, passionate and a fun ride as Trump knocks down everything that would have stopped most. Like a hero would do.

Cruz meanwhile keeps rolling along....but we are not voting yet....they are not voting yet....the people will indeed decide who and what type of man they would have as reflection of the United States of America........as well as the an who can bring stability to a rocking nation....if the Demorats could choose Obama over Hillary as they did.....the Republicans could as well choose Trump over Cruz.....we have a fickle population that votes.....and a Congress that wants to retain it's clutches.......Frankly I don't see Trump loosing that.....I see him joining in their game to get his share of the gravy train...and they will give it to him to secure their power.
