I am glad that RedState finally understands what conservatives have been saying for 8 very very long years, that we, the people, have zero obligation to follow in lockstep with the party and actually vote for the nominee.

Chalk it up to yet another miracle of the Trump campaign... Of course, that is if they maintain this viewpoint going forward - and not simply drop it come another 4 years and they're pimping for yet another RudyMcRomney candidate and telling us to hold our noses and vote for the good of our country...

As I have repeatedly said, my vote is no longer freely given. If a candidate wants my vote, he has to campaign for it, not just in the primaries but in the general as well. I'm no longer going to hold my nose and blindly vote. I've tried it that way, and honestly, my nose is still bruised from Romney.

Both Cruz and Trump have campaigned for my vote; the two percenters have not. I won't be voting for any of the two percenters should some admittedly fantastic turns of event happen and they reach the nomination.
