Funny, and true. I used to be a Beck listener but his ridiculously over the top ridicule of those who questioned Obama’s eligibility drove me away.
Obama’s father was a foreign national. Didn’t matter where he was born. He is not a natural born citizen.
Beck could have just ignored it, he did not have to do what he did.
Foreign national fathers were the reason the founders chose the words natural born citizen, not native born or just citizen at birth.
You realize that this criterion also excludes Cruz, right?
Cruz's father, Rafael Cruz, came to the U.S. in 1957 to study at the University of Texas. He did not become a U.S. citizen until 2005.
I thought very highly of Beck up until that. He had been going on for years quoting Thomas Jefferson (I think) "Question with boldness even the very existence of God ...", but then, on the issue of the 0bama birth certificate, he said "I had Stu look into it, he says there's nothing to it. We're not going to cover it".
Now he's so far gone it's painful to listen to him even briefly and intermittently.
