Like I said, it was rather uncharacteristic for our roadcrews to actually be out salting beforehand.

Considering none of the vehicles were prepped, they must have crash started it.
Too many people with four wheel drive here that believe the commercials, they go blasting around at too high a speed in absolutely the wrong gear and then can’t figure out why they are upside down or in the median.

Had a BMW driver upset with me once because I was getting through the snow in my veedub jetta better than his beemer was.
So he repeatedly tried to ram me.
Not my fault he doesn’t know how to handle his vehicle.

back in the *really* bad snows of 1993, I had a Mazda 626 that would literally plow through *anything*.
It was an otherwise piece of crap ride but worked great as an ice breaker.
