We strung ropes from the house to the fence, and between fence lines, so if there is a whiteout while we are in the barns we have a guide back to the house That's a pretty smart thing to do. Some years back, a lady in South Park couldn't find her way back to her house after feeding her horses in a blizzard (only 300 feet away) and froze to death.
