There have been notable revolutions in history. This election is a new paradigm/revolution re our voting choice for president. The GOPe cartel is panicking that we will pick our president not them.

We finally get to pick our candidate. not a cartel of elite Beltway Ivy Leaguers picking our candidate. An evil cartel, which has zero interest in America, us and our families. They only care about maintaining their power and control. They are terrified that we will pick our candidate and ignore their rants and ill advise.

I think you are right there Grandpa Dave. Trump, for many of us represents “Our Bastard”...In other words, he has his faults and taint perfect, but he is “our” pick. For good or ill, we will ride across the Plains, walk on broken glass and toss the rattle snakes out of the way to vote for Donald. Whether he will fix the country or fail at trying—he is “our” candidate. No pundit, political talking head, purity monitor or elite is going to shake our vote loose.

Unfortunately, taking out the vanguard does little else.

IF this paradigm holds out, I’d love to see the routing of the infestations of govt; termination of employment of those on the taxpayer teet, whole agencies/departments, regs/rules...

They're are also pretty terrified that Trump could easily authorize a series of RICO investigations. When history turns at major events, the past isn't just papered over. No, the culprits are brought to justice in order to establish a public face to the (internal) enemy that brought the country to the brink.

Look at what happened when new governments where formed during the English civil war & later the glorious revolution, and in France between the 2nd empire to 3rd republic after the defeat @ Sedan, not to mention Vichy of course. (Don't even need to mention Germany after WW 1 & 2.)

I really believe there's a real chance of prosecution. If Trump lets everybody off the hook, he'll have made his first mistake. The minute after he's sworn in, he should sign a federal warrant for every evil doer.

I agree. Trump wins, and the American Right will be dragged into Trump's big government philosophy. Which is to say, in the words of Here's to You Mrs. Robinson, "any way you look at it you lose."
